The Carrickfergus Play & Leisure Partnership menbership is made up of partners from the statutory, voluntary, and private sector. The aims of the partnership is to support the delivery of improved play and leisure opportunities within Carrickfergus Borough for children and young people of all abilities through the coordination of partner activities aimed at meeting locally identified need and the objectives of the play and leisure strategy. This multi agency partnership group led by Carrickfergus Borough Council has been set up to help deliver the regional play and leisure strategy in response to government support, public consultation, and to review sources of funding and opportunities to develop and deliver priority projects for play and leisure provision in Carrickfergus Borough.
