National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
Amphitheatre Wellness Centre is proud to offer the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) to anyone over the age of 16. NPLQ is the industrial award for lifeguard and is valid for 2 years upon successful completion.

*Course will run subject to numbers.
The price of the week long course is £250.00 and requires full attendance of each day of the course in order to gain 40 hours contact training time and to qualify for assessment.
Please note, a pre-requisite to the course is to competently pass a water test consisting of the following:
- jump / dive into deep water
- swim 50 meters in no more than 60 seconds
- swim 100 metres continuously on front and back
- in deep water, tread water for 30 seconds
- surface dive to the floor of the pool
- climb out unaided without ladder / steps and anywhere the pool design permits
