Memberships

Monthly membership*

If you are a regular user of Amphitheatre Wellness Centre, why not take out a membership and save money while you get in shape. Memberships are available to anyone over the age of 16 at a rate of £30.00 per month and are payable through monthly direct debit or cash quarterly. A concessionary rate of £20.00 is also available (see below) and a Corporate rate of £25.00. Please ask at reception for the latest list of our Corporate organisations. All memberships include:

• Full use of the gym
• Full use of the pool
• Full use of the spa area
• All classes as detailed on timetable
• Memberships do not include hire of squash, badminton or tennis courts, the arena or hire of equipment

Concession membership*#

Concessionary rates are available for various activities and membership packages throughout Amphitheatre and are applicable to the following:

• Over 60’s
• Full time students (must be 16 or over at the time of joining)
• Job Seekers
• Employment and Support Allowance
• Registered disabled with proof of receipt of benefits

* Please note that an andimistration fee of £25.00 is applicable to all new memberships

You may terminate your membership by giving writen notice to the Amphitheatre by the 1st day of the month. Membership will terminate at the end of the month in which notice was given in accordance with this clause.

Casual user

If you are not sure how often you will use the Amphitheatre Wellness Centre, you can use all the facilities without becoming a member at a rate of £5.30 (£4.20 concession rate). Casual users will have full access to the gym, spa area and pool on each entry. All casual users must complete an induction in order to use the gym facilities. Gym inductions are priced at £10.00 and can be booked by contacting reception or calling into the centre (payment of the induction includes full access to the gym thereafter, access to the pool and access to the spa).

If you decide to join as a member after your induction, the induction fee will be deducted from the administration fee which is applicable to all new members upon production of your receipt (new members must join within two weeks of the induction date).

Classes are available to non members at a rate of £4.00 per class (£3.50 concession rate).

 

Swimming (casual)

Swimming is available to non members at a rate of £2.90 (£1.90 concession rate). However if you swim on a regular basis, you may benefit from purchasing a swimming voucher which entitles the bearer to 10 swims at a discounted rate. Swimming vouchers are available at reception at a price of £23.20 (£15.20 concession rate).
