Fitness And Dance Classes
New dance and exercise timetable
With autumn now upon us, it is never too late to get active and fit! Amphitheatre has an extensive programme of class activities planned over the next number of months.
For the relevant timetable, click on the dates below. All classes must be booked in advance. All classes can be booked one full week in advance.

Copies of the timetable are also available at reception at the Amphitheatre.
Classes may be booked 7 days in advanced either via telephone or at Amphitheatre Reception. For casual users payment must be made at the time of booking.
There is a wide variety of exercise classes to suit all abilities, some of which are detailed below:
| Morning Club | A combination of step, weights, circut and spin |
| 20 20 20 | An all round fitness class with 20 minutes of step, 20 minutes of body conditioning and 20 minutes of aerobics |
| Cardio Box | Punch and kick your way through the latest fitness trend. This innovative workout utilises new moves from boxing and kickboxing |
| Yoga | Gentle and relaxing, concentrating on te conditioning of the body and mind. Builds core strength, flexibility and endurance |
| Spin & Beginners Spin | Consists of instructor-lead classes on specialised stationary bikes. Classes follow al all terrain format using flats, hills, sprints and jumps. Classes to suit all levels |
| Total Body Workout | A high, low or mixed workout for the whole body. A mix of weights and exercise bands to help condition the body |
| Pump it Up | A non impact class which strengthens, conditions and tones the body using dumbbells and barbells |
| Pilates | A mat based exercise to help develop alighment, flexibility and posture. Highly effective on achieving a flatter stomach and tightening your pelvic floor muscles. For men & ladies! |
| Circuts | A combination of of strength and aerobic stations which you will work around through the class |
| Kettle Bells | Swing your way to toning, strengthening and conditioning your body using a vaierty of kettle bells |
| Zumba | Dance your way to fitness with the latest craze! |
| Junior Fit Kids | Junior Fit Kids is designed for 4 -6 year olds to play in a fun environment designed to develop their movements, body awareness, balance, agility, communication and social skills |
| Fit Kids | FitKids is for 7 – 12 year olds. Having fun while targeting the development of movement skills as well as setting the foundations of a healthy introduction to sports,Gym & Kinesis |
| Fit Teens | Providing fun Fitness, Health and Wellness for young people aged 4 – 16 years old through participation in various sports, fitness and activities designed for their own age group. A place to hang out with your mates, learn how to use the gym to develop a stronger fitter body as well as trying a few sports… You’re a teenager… you have the choice of what you want to do! |
| Kinesis | Kinesis is an innovative and unique system that focuses on movement through balance, flexibility, and strength. |
