Junior girls 5 a side soccer open for registrations

Organisers of the Carrickfergus International Ladies Football Festival are now taking team registrations for the U12 and U14 girls 5 a side competitions and the Senior 5 a side competition which are being held on Saturday 1st August at Carrick Rangers FC, Tayors Avenue, Carrickfergus.
Last year 22 teams registered for under junior competitions. The junior section provides the opportunity for youth players to get a taste of the action and mix with the elite players taking part in the main championship games, and we look forward to renewing old friendships and the opportunity to create new and lasting relationships with those attending for the first time.
In addition to the Junior Competitions and the Senior Elite Finals, we are pleased to announce the return of the Senior Five a Side competition, which will no doubt present an element of fun to the fiercely fought finals of the Senior Elite matches. Registration forms for the U12 5-a-side, U14 5-a-side and Senior-5-a-side competitions can be viewed and downloaded through the press relaease at the 
bottom.
In addition to the U12, U14 and Senior 5-a-side competitions, Taylors Avenue will also play host to the Senior Elite Finals on Saturday 1st August which will see the teams that have been battling it out at Taylors Avenue each evening from Tuesday 28th July compete for the Plate Final which kicks off at 1pm and the Championship Final at 3pm. Entry to spectate at these games is free to everyone.
In addition to the numerous competitions being played over the course of the day, a Family Fun day will be in full swing with facepainting, soccer related inflatables a bbq and much more.
