Carrickfergus Borough Council - Stay Warm Oil Stamp Saving Scheme

Stay Warm Oil Stamp Saving Scheme

Carrickfergus Borough Council, in partnership with Society of St Vincent de Paul, is operating an Oil Stamp Scheme (Stay Warm Saving Scheme) stay warmwhich allows householders in the Whitehead area who use central heating oil to spread the cost of their home heating oil so as to budget and save effectively. The scheme is currently being piloted in the Whitehead area, but we will be launching the Scheme in the Carrickfergus and Greenisland areas later in 2012. Watch local press for details!

SAVING YOUR STAMPS

1. Collect an oil stamp savings card from any of the participating stamp outlets as listed below.

2. As soon as you receive the card, complete the Name and Address sections to help prevent fraud.

3. Purchase a £5 oil saving stamp or stamps from a participating outlet within the Borough. The stamps are non-refundable.

4. Place your oil savings stamp onto your oil savings card in the spaces provided. Each card holds 40 stamps.

The card can then be used for payment, or part-payment for your oil with participating oil suppliers.

We would ask that you only use Carrickfergus Borough Council Oil Stamps on Carrickfergus Borough Council Oil Stamp Savings Cards.
