Each year the Council prepares a set of financial statements in line with statute. These are then audited by a Local Government Auditor appointed by the Northern Ireland Audit Office. These statements are now officially published on this website under Regulation 12 of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2006.

Annual Audit Letter
Under Regulation 13 of the Local Government (Accounts and Audit) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 the Council is required to publish an annual audit letter issued by the Local Government Auditor. Below are the letters issued for the years ended 31st March 07 and 31st March 08.
