Carrickfergus Borough Council acknowledge the efforts of local, cultural, community and sporting groups as well as individuals in their contribution towards the development of a sustainable community.

| Arts and Events | Arts - applications are welcome from visual, performance, traditional and creative arts individuals or groups who will develop and promote the arts in the Borough Events - applications are welcome from groups who wish to stage an event in the Borough which will provide entertainment and/or education to the people of the Borough Community Festivals - applications are welcome from groups who will improve the skills of their local community, promote social inclusion, improve community relations and contribute to community regeneration. | Lynda Waring (Arts and Events Officer) |

All of the above grants are offered under a rolling programme and can be applied for any time of the year, except the Community Support Large Grants. The opening and closing dates to apply for a Community Support Grant (2011 - 2012) will be 1 - 30 November 2010.
