Outdoor Signage for Whitehead Village- To include: Heritage & Wellbeing Walking Trail, Visitor Orientation & Welcome Signage.

Following public consultation in relation to the Whitehead Village Masterplan, analysis revealed that the layout of the village may at times prove difficult for a newcomer to navigate, in addition, many of Whitehead’s historical treasures are not easy to locate and/or are not acknowledged with appropriate signage, or interpretation for residents and visitors.

In order to address these issues Carrickfergus Borough Council is seeking tenders for the development, design, production, implementation and installation of outdoor signage in Whitehead to comprise the following-

• A Heritage & Wellbeing Walking Trail
• Welcome Signs
• Navigational Fingerposts

Tenderers will be expected to be able to provide examples of similar projects successfully completed, including details of clients who may be contacted for reference.

Please note that applicants may be short listed on the basis of the submissions and applicants may be required to present for interview.

INVITATION TO TENDER

Design, Supply & Installation of Ball Screen Fence at Bentra Golf Club in Whitehead

Carrickfergus Borough Council has been successful in attracting funding for the development of a pedestrian path scheme through Bentra Golf Course to the new Whitehead Diamond Jubilee Wood. Part of this scheme requires a Ball Screen Fence in order to protect those people using the path.

Carrickfergus Borough Council therefore wishes to appoint a contactor for the design, supply and installation of a ball screen fence at Bentra Golf Club in Whitehead.

Tenderers will be expected to be able to provide examples of similar projects successfully completed, including details of clients who may be contacted for reference.

Tender for Redevelopment of Marine Gardens

Carrickfergus Borough Council is seeking tenders from contractors who are registered with Constructionline and who wish to be considered for inclusion on a Select List of Contractors.  Tender documents and further information may be obtained from McAdam Design Ltd, 1C Montgomery House, 478 Castlereagh Road, Belfast, BT5 6BQ.  Telephone (028) 9040 2000 quoting A1778.  The closing date for tenders is 12noon 13 January 2012.  The Council does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender, nor will it be liable for expenses involved in the preparation of any tender.
